“Croquis de voyage dans les rues du Creusot” (Sketches of a trip in the streets of Le Creusot) Unexpected pictures of a city by creator-artist Christian SEGAUD, born in Le Creusot in 1950. First displayed in 1990 at the Musée de l’homme et de l’industrie, the pictures are acquired by the Ecomuseum in 1973 with the help of the Fonds Régional d’Acquisition des Musées de Bourgogne. “Croquis de voyage dans les rues du Creusot” is a collection of about 500 small size drawings of shop windows, café rooms, rooves, chimneys, and landscapes, many of them illustrated with the artist’s handwritten comment about the weather, conversations at the counter, etc.
