The cristals collection is representative of the Creusot (Montcenis*) manufacture period. Except for very few items, none can be traced with precision. The Ecomuseum cristals collection is a testimony to the variety and evolution of Empire and Restoration periods, and to the quality of Le Creusot cristals. * Documents prior to 1830 refer to the Montcenis Cristalworks, which was set up in 1786 before the creation of Le Creusot.
